Position Overview

Location: Oak Brook, Western Suburbs – Oak Brook, Schaumburg, Rosemont (Luxury Corporate Office Center).

Schedule: Flex Schedule.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Must have open scheduling availability to work mornings (1st shift), evenings (2nd shift), and overnights (3rd shift) as scheduled by manager, including weekends.
• Maintain a professional demeanor when assisting customers, employees, visitors, and guests.
• Maintain a visible presence in the designated building.
• Monitor the environment to detect suspicious and unsafe activity.
• Familiarize with incoming and outgoing traffic and know the customers, tenants, visitors, and guests.
• Greet customers, visitors, staff, tenants, and guests in a professional manner at all times.
• Answer all phone calls in a professional manner.
• Permit authorized persons to enter the property and monitor entrances and exits.
• Know the building policies and procedures and enforce them within the limits of the position.
• Perform required patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure authorized removal of property is conducted per customer requirements.
• Follow established emergency action plans and procedures.
• Monitor alarms and systems.
• Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities as directed.

The essential duties and responsibilities may differ by customer location assigned.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

• Must have open scheduling availability to work mornings (1st shift), evenings (2nd shift), and overnights (3rd shift) as scheduled by manager, including weekends.
• Must be available to work a rotating flex schedule.
• 20‑hour Security Training Certificate.
• Active PERC Card.
• Reliable means of communication and transportation – personal transportation is required.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and a neat, professional appearance.
• Ability to write routine correspondence, including log entries and incident reports.
• Previous contract security, law enforcement, military, or customer service experience is helpful.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly pay rate: $20.00 per hour.
