Hiring Flex Armed Security Guard

• Pay rate: $20.00 per hour
• Location: Los Angeles, California
• Excellent Benefits and Career Progression!
• Must have valid CA guard card
• Firearm permit is required
• Must have Baton certificate through BSIS
• Open availability is required

Allied Universal has security jobs and is seeking to fill the position of a Security Flex Officer.

The Security Flex Officer is responsible for the safety and security of the facilities they protect. They act as a visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions, and detect and report suspicious, unsafe or criminal acts at or near their assigned posts, which may threaten the property, clients, guests or employees at the site.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent
• Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills to deal professionally with all levels of personnel and the public
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• Driving Positions: must possess a valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to operate a vehicle safely
• Must successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen
• Must be available to work any time and day, covering multiple clients and locations
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Have intermediate computer skills to operate wireless technology at client sites
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently
• Physical requirements include working in various environments, occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds, climbing stairs or ladders, and standing or walking for long periods
