Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - FLEX in Horicon, WI. This part-time enhanced position offers flexible hours within a fixed shift and the ability to pick up extra shifts to increase earnings. Pay rate is $21.50 per hour with a schedule including day and night hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response at a manufacturing/industrial site.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and escalate as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, document visitor/contractor entries, and report unauthorized access.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation per Allied Universal/site requirements.

As a Security Officer - FLEX in Horicon, WI, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, document visitor and contractor entry, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual conditions.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 19 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
