Allied Universal is seeking to fill the position of a Security Flex Officer for Johns Hopkins University - Higher Education Site, Part-Time, Evening Shift in Baltimore, Maryland.

The Security Flex Officer is responsible for the safety and security of the facilities they protect. They act as a visible deterrent to crime and rule infractions, and report suspicious, unsafe, or criminal acts at or near their posts, which may threaten the property, clients, guests, or employees.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Be at least 21+ years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer Service Experience.
• Must have 6+ Months of Security Experience.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
• Driving Positions: valid Driver’s License, at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record, and ability to operate a vehicle safely.
• Successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen.
• Ability to work at multiple locations, cover shifts, and work any time and day.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Intermediate computer skills for operating wireless technology.
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Physical ability to work in various environments, lift up to 40 pounds, climb stairs or ladders, and stand or walk for long periods.
