Delaware North Gaming is hiring part-time Security Officers to join our team at Finger Lakes Gaming in Farmington, New York. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe environment for guests and team members, complying with confidentiality regulations regarding security information. Shifts:

  • Friday-Monday (3:00 pm-11:00 pm)
  • Thursday-Sunday (11:00 pm-7:00 am)

Pay: $18.79 per hour

What will you do?

  • Greet guests positively and timely, demonstrating skill in dealing with customer complaints and defusing charged situations
  • Conduct cash escorts and patrol parking lot and ancillary buildings as assigned
  • Observe, handle, and report procedural violations and illegal activity
  • Ensure that identification is checked for proper admittance to the gaming floor
  • Maintain crowd control and a secure presence on the gaming floor
  • Operate motorized vehicle when necessary

More About You:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must possess a NYS Security Guard license, have a valid driver’s license, pass an MVR check, and take a drug test
  • Ability to work across departmental lines with guests and vendors
  • Previous security supervisory or law enforcement experience preferred
  • Gaming background a plus

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
