Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Premier Corporate Insurance for a financial institution location in Wilton, CT. You will patrol, monitor access, and respond to security concerns with professionalism, delivering excellent customer service and maintaining logs.

The role is full-time with day shifts and a pay rate of $23.00 per hour. Candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant security or law enforcement experience, a high school diploma, and be ready for background checks

Qualifications

• Possess 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen may be required per policy.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related observations and incidents.
