Job Description

As a Security Officer - Financial Front Desk in Morristown, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As a Front Desk professional in a financial institution setting, you will be responsible for monitoring access, managing visitor entry, and providing a welcoming presence. Your role involves remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and offering exceptional customer service and communication. You will contribute to a positive environment by upholding our values of agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and working collaboratively with integrity. This is a stationary post focused on access control and supporting the daily operations at the location.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Responsibilities:

Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees at the front desk, following site-specific protocols for a financial institution location.
• Monitor access to the premises by verifying identification and managing visitor logs.
• Respond to security-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Communicate with building management and emergency services as needed during incidents.
• Carry out security procedures and site-specific policies relevant to a financial institution environment.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and directing individuals appropriately.
• Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and suspicious activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• New Jersey Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
