• Proof of training in DAAT course within 3 years or ability to obtain certification.
• Must complete NIMS IS-700 and ICS-100 courses within 6 months.

Job Summary:

Providing security in/around the hospital, facilities, campus, ancillary clinics, and parking structures. Focuses on the safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff. Responds immediately to dispatch calls as a visible deterrent, investigates unusual circumstances, assists with de-escalation, and enforces security policies. Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience:

1 year of security experience or equivalent.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Training:

Proof of training in Froedtert-approved DAAT (Defense and Arrest Techniques) course within the past three years or the ability to obtain certification within 120 days of hire, including de-escalation training. Must complete NIMS IS-700 and ICS-100 courses within six months of hire. Must complete FTO program within 120 days. Familiarity with CCTV systems is preferred.

Skills:

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally, push-pull force up to 100 lbs, climb stairs occasionally, walk frequently, and get up and down from the floor independently.

Licensure:

Valid driver's license required. AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or equivalent required within three months of hire.
