Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Facility Access Driver in Sulphur, LA. Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Verify identification, credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery documentation before permitting access to designated areas.
• Monitor entry and exit points, maintain accurate visitor and contractor logs, issue and collect access credentials, and report discrepancies.
• Respond to access-control incidents and alarms, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and perimeter locations.

As an Access Control professional at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Verify identification, credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery documentation before permitting access to designated areas in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor entry and exit points, maintain accurate visitor and contractor logs, issue and collect access credentials, and report discrepancies through established channels.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and perimeter locations, observing for unusual conditions and reporting security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience is required.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
