Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Access Control Driver in Sulphur, LA. This full-time role involves guarding, controlling access at a chemical/petrochemical site, and patrolling to deter incidents.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor/manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and authorizations, manage visitor and contractor entry procedures, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, perimeter locations, and restricted areas to help deter unauthorized entry and identify unusual conditions.
• Communicate observations, incidents, and access-control concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership in accordance with reporting procedures.

As a Security Guard Access Control Driver in Sulphur, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support security-related operations with integrity and teamwork. Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

• Mon: 04:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Tue: 04:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Thur: 04:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:
