Allied Universal is hiring an Experienced Security Officer - Lobby Concierge in Scottsdale, AZ. You will safeguard tenants and visitors at a busy commercial real estate location, perform unarmed patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents with professional communication.

This full-time role pays $22.28 per hour with a varied schedule. Minimum requirements include at least one year of security-related experience, basic computer/tablet proficiency, and the ability to pass a background check

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and tenants by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner and coordinate with site contacts and responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interiors, exteriors, parking areas, and entry points.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials per site policy; document observations and patrol activity.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly environment and support deliveries, contractors, and after-hours access.

As a Security Officer - Experienced Lobby Concierge in Scottsdale, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm panels, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. Use computer or tablet systems to support badge access activities, communicate professionally with tenants and visitors, and deliver outstanding service. • Mon: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Tue: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policy, and document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in required reports.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by providing directions, reporting maintenance or security-related concerns, and supporting site-specific procedures for deliveries, contractors, and after-hours access.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
