Job summary

Allied Universal in Lima, OH is seeking an experienced Security Officer - Driving Patrol. You will monitor facilities, deter security incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service while supporting aerospace and defense locations.

This full-time position pays $23.00 per hour with weekly pay and benefits including medical, dental, 401(k), and life insurance. A valid driver’s license is required; CPR/First Aid certification and access-control experience are preferred.

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm Panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace/defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following site protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and report suspicious activity.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications.

As a Security Officer - Experienced - Driving Patrolin LIMA, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
