Job Details:

• Employment Status: Part-Time
• FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
• Pay Rate: $14.48/hr
• Experience Required: General security experience

• Location: Zoo setting, indoors and outdoors
• Certification: Valid Oklahoma driver’s license within 30 days, pass driver’s history check

Job Summary: Ensure 24-hour security, safety of visitors, staff, and animals, and provide medical assistance when needed.

Essential Duties:

1. Inspect safety conditions and report issues
2. Monitor building temperatures and perimeter security
3. Escort vehicles and respond to medical emergencies
4. Provide first aid and call for emergency services
5. Patrol grounds, interact with guests, and assist lost persons
6. Control traffic and manage lost articles
7. Respond to emergencies and maintain logs
8. Train in firearm safety and maintain security during events
