Job summary

DSI Security Services is hiring Security Officers in Hagerstown, MD to help maintain a safe environment for clients, staff, and the public. This role requires professionalism, attentiveness, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Applicants must hold a Maryland Security Guard License and be available for second or third shifts, including weekends and holidays. Training and ongoing support are provided by DSI Security Services.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to meet the job's physical requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Reliable transportation and means of communication are necessary.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills and effective written/verbal communication are required.
• Ability to conduct routine foot patrols and work in various weather conditions.
• Must pass all pre-employment screenings and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment through visible presence and routine patrols.
• Observe, report, and respond to hazards, incidents, and suspicious activity.
• Follow DSI policies, client requirements, and post-specific instructions.
• Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and timely.
• Participate in training and comply with safety procedures and manuals.
