Job summary

Shady Grove Medical Center is seeking an experienced Security Officer for our Security Services department. The role focuses on maintaining a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors and requires effective communication with security and hospital personnel.

The position involves foot and vehicular patrols, responding to emergencies, and maintaining a professional image of the organization in a faith-based healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
• US Driver's License is required to operate vehicles and respond to emergencies.
• Must be able to respond to physically demanding emergency calls.

Work Schedule

• Employment Type: Full-time
• Hours per Week: 40 hrs/week
• Typical Daily Schedule: 4pm to 1230am
• Shift Type: evenings

Pay Range

$19.21 - $24.90 If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
