Job Description

Saint Luke's South Hospital in Overland Park is seeking a Security Officer to join our team. You will be responsible for security tasks including patrolling, responding to security incidents, and reporting issues according to department procedures.

Qualifications

Individuals must be 21 years or older to qualify for this position.

Shift Details

Full Time - 3:00 pm to 1:00 am. Occasionally, the shift may be from 6:00 pm to 4:00 am at Saint Luke's Community Hospitals.

Compensation

We offer competitive salaries based on education, certification, and experience. The starting hourly rate is $22.70/hr.

Responsibilities

• Assist employees, patients, and visitors with parking and control of entrances and exits.
• Patrol the hospital campus and report safety/security issues.
• Provide escorts and routine security services to staff, patients, and visitors.

Ideal Candidate

Must have strong customer service skills, a positive attitude, and be eager to learn. Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
