Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer / Guard to observe and report activities at client sites, ensuring safety for people and property.

The role includes patrolling, enforcing regulations, providing customer service to employees and customers, and maintaining shift logs with supervision communications. Full-time and part-time positions are available, with a starting pay of $16.00/hour and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to pass drug screen and background check.
• Ability to meet licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
• Physically able to sit, stand, walk long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• No experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at assigned client sites, ensuring security and safety of property and personnel.
• Patrol premises, maintaining order while enforcing regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and area.
• Provide customer service and information to employees and customers.
• Maintain shift logs, reports and communications with supervisors.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Passed drug screen and background check.
• Ability to meet and continue to meet state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
• Physical ability to sit, stand, walk for long periods, climb stairs, walk on uneven terrain, lift up to 10 lbs frequently and up to 25 lbs occasionally.
• No experience required; experience in retail, food service, or hospitality desirable but training is provided.
