Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Tactical Security Guard in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. The role requires situational awareness to read environments, anticipate risk, and act accordingly while patrolling diverse locations.

Responsibilities include identifying threats, verifying access, and coordinating with law enforcement when needed. A valid US work status, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to stand for long shifts are required; first aid is a plus.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 21+ years old
• Valid driver’s license with a clear MVR
• Able to pass an extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is advantageous
• State license if required

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas and detect suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Ensure the safety and protection of people and property.

As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

What’s in it for you:

• Site Location: Beaver Dam, Wisconsin
• Set schedule: We have 3 different shifts available
  • Full-time, 1st shift, Friday through Monday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Full-time, 1st shift Thursday and Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 2nd shift, Saturday and Sunday, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.
  • Full- Time, 3rd shift, Tuesday through Saturday, 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Qualifications of Tactical Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 21 years of age
• Have a valid driver's license with a clear MVR record
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a state license if required
