Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Entry Control in Livermore, CA. You will manage access points, verify credentials, and provide welcoming service to employees, visitors, and vendors at an automotive manufacturing site.

This full-time role offers a $22.52 per hour pay rate with a consistent evening schedule Wed-Sun 2:30 PM–11:00 PM, opportunities for training, growth, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed positions.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing site.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify IDs, issue visitor credentials, and maintain access records.
• Control access for vehicles, deliveries, and contractors in restricted areas.
• Respond calmly to incidents and communicate details to site contacts and responders.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, parking areas, and perimeter to deter incidents.

• Wed: 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur: 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing location by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site procedures.
• Control access for vehicles, deliveries, and contractors entering restricted areas, following established protocols and escalating discrepancies to appropriate site personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations and relevant details to site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
