Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for the Bridgeport, WV area. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and deliver customer service while maintaining a secure environment.

This role offers flexible shift timings (Mon/Sat/Sun 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) and an opportunity to grow within a leading security company. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, ability to pass background and drug screenings, and compliance with licensing where required.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, airfield-adjacent areas, parking lots and perimeter.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, damaged property, hazards, and suspicious activity to site contacts.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation.

You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, help to deter incidents through a visible presence, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $12.73 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, airfield-adjacent areas, parking lots, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, damaged property, hazards, and suspicious activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
