The position is full-time with a schedule of 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM Wednesday through Sunday, paying $16.33 per hour.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen are required.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Support orderly movement of people and vehicles by observing entry/exit activity and reporting unusual conditions.

Job Description

As a Security Officer X Ray Screening Driver in Braselton, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and delivery personnel. Use communication and customer service skills to address security-related concerns and support routine screening operations. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in the job state. What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees at a logistics and distribution location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access points for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel; verify credentials and maintain accurate visitor and access records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to site leadership and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, trailer yards, and access points to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Support the orderly movement of people and vehicles by observing entry and exit activity, following site traffic procedures, and reporting unusual conditions.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
