Allied Universal in Keasbey, NJ is seeking a Security Officer Entry Authorization Specialist for a part-time schedule. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, screen visitors and deliveries, and conduct routine patrols to deter security incidents while delivering friendly customer service.

This role supports a fast-paced logistics and distribution site. The position requires at least 2 years of security experience, a high school diploma, and a background check with a drug screen.

• Respond calmly to access-related incidents and report concerns to site leadership.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with site procedures.
• Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, vehicles, and deliveries as directed, helping to deter unauthorized access and support the controlled movement of freight.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and promptly report concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting and reporting unusual conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
