Allied Universal, Whitestown, IN, is seeking a Security Officer Entry Authorization to monitor access points and provide customer service.

You will verify credentials, log entries, respond to incidents, and patrol the site, supporting a secure environment for employees and visitors.

This is a full-time role with daytime and overnight shifts; must be at least 18 years old and able to pass background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer Entry Authorization in Whitestown, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, and help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will provide visible support, communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a logistics and distribution location; verify credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery or pickup documentation before permitting access according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate access-control records, including visitor, contractor, and driver logs, and communicate access concerns or irregularities to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including business operations, loading areas, parking lots, and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
