Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Utilities in Riviera Beach, FL. This role offers flexible, anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $19.00 per hour. Responsibilities include customer service, responding to incidents, and conducting patrols at a utility site. Requires two years security experience, guard card, and a valid driver's license; background check and drug screen may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor for unusual conditions and access-control issues and report observations to site staff.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs accurately.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Utilities in Riviera Beach, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed02:00 PM - 06:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 06:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual conditions, equipment concerns, and access-control issues, and report observations to appropriate site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
