Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced in Rialto, CA. This position offers fixed shifts at an assigned site and the option to earn more by picking up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Responsibilities include customer service for clients, visitors and employees; responding to incidents and alarms; conducting unarmed patrols; monitoring access; and completing logs and reports.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Patrol Assistance in Rialto, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.54 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 08:45 AM - 04:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, including exterior areas, parking locations, entrances, and perimeter, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, and maintain professional interactions with customers and staff.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
