Allied Universal, Saint Louis, MO, is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Visitor Services to provide front desk security and visitor services at a busy site. The role offers flexible, fixed shifts with opportunities to pick up extra shifts and grow within a national security leader.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and contractors at a front desk following site procedures.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Visitor Services in Saint Louis, MO, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Day: Fri
• Time: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and contractors at a front desk in a technology, media, and telecommunications location by following site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the facility by greeting visitors, verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate visitor records.
• Answer and direct incoming calls, provide general site information, and coordinate with appropriate personnel regarding visitor arrivals, deliveries, and service requests.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Monitor front desk activity, report unusual or suspicious activity, and support a professional, welcoming environment while helping to deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
