Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out access-control procedures at an aerospace and defense location.
• Verify identities, credentials, authorizations, and access permissions for personnel and vehicles entering restricted areas.
• Monitor entry points, access-control systems, alarms, and related equipment and report irregularities or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and notify site contacts or emergency responders when required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, facilities, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.

Job Schedule:

• Tue 12:30 AM - 08:30 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out access‑control procedures, site‑specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Verify identities, credentials, authorizations, and access permissions for personnel and vehicles entering restricted areas, following established visitor‑management and badging procedures.
• Monitor entry points, access‑control systems, alarms, and related equipment; report irregularities, unauthorized‑access attempts, and maintenance concerns according to site protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, facilities, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Possession of a state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
