Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and perform security-related procedures, site policies, access-control requirements, and emergency response when needed.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, process visitors, contractors and deliveries, and maintain entry records.
• Control access for inbound/outbound vehicles and personnel per site procedures to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents calmly and report observations to site contacts and leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and surrounding areas.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Visitor Management in Taylor, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $18.73 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeSat04:00 PM - 12:00 AM How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points at a logistics and distribution location; verify credentials, process visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel, and maintain required entry records.
• Control access for inbound and outbound vehicles and personnel in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, loading areas, parking locations, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
