Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Dulles, VA. The role offers flexible, reliable hours with fixed anchor shifts and optional additional shifts to boost earnings. Pay rate is $23.67 per hour, with schedules including DayTime and weekend shifts.

• Licensing requirements may be required.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Staff the front desk in a professional manner, greet visitors, verify identification as required, issue visitor credentials, and maintain visitor sign‑in records.
• Monitor building access points, cameras, alarms, and communication systems, reporting unusual activity or security‑related concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Answer and direct phone calls, assist with visitor inquiries, and maintain accurate daily activity logs and other front-desk records.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Visitor Credentialing in Dulles, VA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
