Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Visitor Arrival in Atlanta, GA. You will provide customer service, monitor front desk operations, verify identifications, and issue visitor credentials in a government facility.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security‑related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screening required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government facility by following site‑specific security procedures.
• Monitor and manage the front desk area, greet visitors, verify identifications, and issue visitor credentials.
• Receive calls, maintain logs, and relay information to personnel and emergency responders.
• Respond to incidents professionally and follow reporting and escalation procedures.
• Deterrence of unauthorized access by monitoring entry points and reporting concerns.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Visitor Arrival in Atlanta, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Wed 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Thur 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government facility by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and manage the front desk area, greet and direct visitors, verify identification and appointments as required, and issue visitor credentials in accordance with location procedures.
• Receive incoming calls, maintain visitor and incident logs, and communicate relevant information to designated personnel and emergency responders.
• Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by observing entry activity, monitoring assigned access points, and reporting unusual conditions or concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security‑related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
