Allied Universal® is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for an unarmed retail patrol role in Calabasas, CA. The position offers flexible hours with fixed anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts for increased earnings.

The role requires at least 1 year of security experience, basic computer use, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Pay rate is $19.25 per hour, with a schedule that includes daytime shifts.

Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Retail Patrol in Calabasas, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and vendor authorization as required, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, patrol activity, and customer service interactions accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be able to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
