Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed in Honolulu, HI. The role offers reliable, flexible hours with fixed anchor shifts and optional additional shifts to increase earnings.

Responsibilities include visitor assistance, patrols, access point monitoring, incident response, and reporting. Candidates should have a high school diploma, be at least 18, and pass required background checks and drug screening.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Standards in Honolulu, HI, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Sat: 05:00 PM - 05:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors, court personnel, and other occupants by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of courthouse facilities, entrances, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and report concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with established procedures, directing individuals to appropriate locations and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following site‑specific response protocols.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, documenting incidents, observations, and interactions with appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
