Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Operations in Lancaster, PA. This role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings, designed for part-time income with potential to build toward a full schedule.

You’ll perform site-specific security procedures, respond to incidents, and conduct regular unarmed patrols while maintaining safety and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation conducted per federal/state/local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out site‑specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the store, sales floor, stock areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity for unusual conditions; report concerns to site leadership or authorities.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications per site procedures.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Operations in Lancaster, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.15 / Hour

• Age Requirement: All candidates must be at least 21 years of age (C101) at the time of application. This requirement is in place to comply with legal regulations and company policies.

Job Schedule:

• Wed 09:00 AM - 09:15 PM
• Fri 09:00 AM - 09:15 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the store, sales floor, stock areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, reporting concerns to site leadership and/or appropriate authorities.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
