• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production-area exteriors, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor and document visitor, vendor, and employee access according to site procedures and maintain logs.
• Report unusual conditions, damaged property, and policy violations to site contacts and leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Inspection in LAUREL, MS, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.45 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production-area exteriors, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and document visitor, vendor, and employee access in accordance with site-specific procedures, maintaining clear and accurate activity logs.
• Report unusual conditions, damaged property, policy violations, and other security-related concerns to the appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least six months of security-related experience.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
