Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Experience in Irving, TX. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts through our platform, and a pay rate of $22.25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Licensing requirements may be required per state/local laws; a valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site policies.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Experience in Irving, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $22.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology‑focused location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including exterior areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity around sensitive technology infrastructure, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs while maintaining a professional presence and communicating clearly with site personnel and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
