Allied Universal in Chantilly, VA seeks a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Deterrence. The role focuses on reliable, fixed shifts with opportunities to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, and provides a pay rate of $21.53 per hour.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures, including verifying credentials and directing guests in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Deterrence in Chantilly, VA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.53 / Hour

Job Schedule: Sat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM; Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
