Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, entry points, and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, contractors, vendors, and delivery personnel entering or exiting the distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations calmly and document observations and notify site contacts or emergency services.
• Maintain accurate daily activity and incident reports and access-related records per Allied Universal procedures.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Prineville, OR, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.90 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, contractors, vendors, and delivery personnel entering or exiting the distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and access-related records in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
