Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Building Patrol in Cleveland, OH. This role offers fixed evening shifts with the opportunity to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, helping you earn more while maintaining a reliable base schedule.

You will deliver customer service to residents and staff, conduct regular patrols, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and uphold a professional presence in a sensitive housing environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required per federal, state and local laws.
• Allied Universal may consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in accordance with the law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required per state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and service providers on site.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access to the location, observe visitor activity, and document arrivals, departures, incidents, and other required information.
• Respond to incidents and resident concerns in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Maintain a professional presence to support a respectful environment.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Building Patrol in Cleveland, OH, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and service providers while carrying out site‑specific procedures and emergency response activities at a shelter location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, observe visitor activity, and document arrivals, departures, incidents, and other required information in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain a professional presence that helps support a respectful environment for individuals experiencing housing instability while following Allied Universal and site‑specific security‑related policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
