Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Rialto, CA. This role provides reliable hours with fixed shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform. Pay rate is $18.80 per hour, with a schedule that includes a Wed night shift.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Security Screening in Rialto, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.80 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site‑specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Screen employees, visitors, packages, and other incoming items in accordance with established access‑control and screening requirements for a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry points and observe facility activity for unusual conditions, unauthorized access attempts, and prohibited items; report concerns through established procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, screening locations, loading areas, and the business perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
