Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced in Beverly Hills, CA to provide front-desk style security, customer service, and access control at a commercial real estate site.

You will work fixed shifts, with a schedule that allows picking up additional shifts and a base commitment. Training is provided, and opportunities for growth exist within the industry leader.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check will be conducted in line with laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and clients at a front desk following site procedures.
• Manage visitor access by greeting guests, verifying IDs and appointments, and issuing credentials.
• Monitor reception area and security systems, reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents calmly and professionally following emergency procedures when needed.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and incident documentation.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Reception Operations in Beverly Hills, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and clients at a commercial real estate front desk by following site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Manage visitor access by greeting guests, verifying identification and appointments, issuing visitor credentials, and directing individuals to appropriate areas.
• Monitor access points, reception area activity, and security-related systems, reporting unusual conditions or concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and incident documentation while supporting a professional and welcoming lobby environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
