Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Reception in Clinton, NY. This role provides reliable, consistent hours with fixed anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will greet visitors, verify access, issue credentials, and direct individuals to appropriate areas. If needed, respond to incidents calmly and maintain front-desk records while delivering quality customer service.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, front-desk policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Greet and screen visitors, verify appointments or access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and direct individuals to appropriate areas of the healthcare location.
• Monitor access to the facility through the front desk, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and contacting emergency services and/or designated staff when needed.
• Answer incoming calls, provide general information, and maintain clear, accurate records of front-desk activities and security-related incidents.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Reception in Clinton, NY, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Thur 02:30 PM - 06:30 PM
• Fri 02:30 PM - 06:30 PM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
