Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Perimeter Patrol in Lubbock, TX. This role offers reliable, fixed shifts with an anchor schedule and the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will provide customer service to clients, monitor for incidents, perform patrols, and report any suspicious activity while following site policies. This is a part‑time position with weekly pay and opportunities to progress within the industry leader.

• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, as assigned.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, potential hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel to help deter theft, trespassing, and unauthorized access.
• Maintain detailed activity logs and incident reports, and communicate professionally with store personnel, customers, visitors, and responding public service agencies.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Perimeter Patrol in Lubbock, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Weekly Pay

Job Schedule:

• Wed 01:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Thur 01:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Fri 01:00 PM - 11:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
