Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced for a part-time patrol role in Marietta, GA. The position offers flexible base hours with the option to pick up additional shifts across multiple sites, designed to supplement income or grow toward a full-time security career.

Pay rate starts at $17.50 per hour with fixed anchor shifts and a program to claim extra shifts, enabling higher earnings. A background check and drug screen will be conducted as part of the hiring process.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial property common areas, parking areas, building entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, and document observations, incidents, and interactions in required reports.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, visitors, and emergency responders regarding security-related concerns.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Specialist in Marietta, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.
