Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer – Enhanced Part Time in Lawrenceville, GA. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts via the Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift program, designed to supplement income and provide hands-on security experience.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escort requests, and report access‑control concerns to site leadership.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security‑related activities in accordance with site procedures.

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Fri: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Sat: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.
