Allied Universal® is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for a Katy, TX location. The role emphasizes flexible hours, fixed anchor shifts, and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform.

You will support security operations, assist employees and visitors, and contribute to a safe environment at a technology-focused site. The position offers weekly fixed shifts, room for advancement through paid training, and benefits under a leading national security

Qualificações

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Route Integrity in Katy, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

$17.17 / Hour

Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at a technology‑focused location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, parking locations, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verifying credentials and directing guests in accordance with site‑specific protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
