Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Honolulu, HI. This flexible, fixed-shift position pays $22.00 per hour and offers the option to pick up extra shifts through the scheduling platform to increase earnings.

The role focuses on customer service, routine patrols, incident response, and maintaining a safe, secure environment at a commercial real estate site. A six-month anchor shift is typical, with opportunities to scale hours up to 40 per week.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, parking patrons, and client representatives while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related responsibilities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of parking areas, building exteriors, access points, common areas, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity, hazards, or property concerns.
• Monitor parking facilities for unauthorized vehicles, access concerns, equipment issues, and conditions requiring attention; report observations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner; request appropriate assistance and complete required reports.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorized activity and assist occupants, visitors, and emergency responders.

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
