Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or employees at a commercial real estate location by carrying out site-specific security procedures and policies, and emergency response when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to identify and report hazards and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures; assist with access control and directing guests as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner following reporting and escalation procedures.
• Document daily activities, patrol observations, incidents, and policy violations through clear written reports.

Job Schedule

• Thur: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
