Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, background investigation will be conducted.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws; may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while enforcing security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and report unusual activity to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document observations, actions taken, and relevant details.
• Support a professional environment by coordinating with staff and emergency responders.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Inspection in Lubbock, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document observations, actions taken, and relevant details.
• Support a professional environment by maintaining awareness of logistics and distribution operations and communicating clearly with personnel and emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
