Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Enhanced Part Time Patrol Emergency Response in Tampa, FL. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts through the scheduling platform to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $15.70 per hour. The schedule is DayTime Wednesday 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, with responsibilities including patrols, access monitoring, and incident response to ensure security at a logistics site.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted per laws.
• Background histories may be considered per laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements per state or local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly, escalating as per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking spaces, access points, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access by observing personnel, visitors, and vehicles, reporting irregularities per site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and leadership.

Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Emergency Response in Tampa, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.70 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, package handling spaces, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by observing incoming and outgoing personnel, visitors, and vehicles, and report irregularities according to site‑specific procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
