Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services provider in North America, seeks a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver for a medical site in Portland, OR. The role offers flexible, anchor shifts with opportunities to pick extra shifts to boost earnings.

You will perform security procedures, monitor access, respond to emergencies, and patrol hospital facilities. A valid driver's license and ability to work at a hospital morgue are required; CPR/First Aid is preferred.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals as necessary.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver - Medical Site in Portland, OR, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $29.22 / Hour

DayTimeSat12:00 AM - 04:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, healthcare location policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, behavioral concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, directions, and access-control procedures in accordance with location requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and designated site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals as necessary.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
